About the event
This spring we will travel through the exciting world of science! Students will work through the Institute for Excellence in Writing's (IEW) units 5-9 as we learn to write from pictures, participate in inventive writing, summarize multiple references, and complete a formal research paper.
Vocabulary and grammar concepts will be included in this course. A formal grammar program will be introduced to each student.
Please note that this is the second semester of a year-long course. No new students will be added unless they have prior IEW experience.
******Parents are responsible for purchasing the Wonders of Science Writing Student book prior to the first day of class (Wonders of Science Writing Lessons [Student Book only] | WOS-S (iew.com)), as well as either purchasing or printing out the Student Resource Notebook from IEW.
