About the event
Learn how to write with structure and style as we travel back in time through U.S. History. In this text, students will work through the Institute for Excellence in Writing's (IEW) units 5-9 as they learn to complete key word outlines, summarize multiple references, write from pictures, complete a formal research paper, complete inventive / creative writing assignments, and formulate a critique. This course is an excellent class for students in grades 5-8, or returning IEW students who are ready for more of a challenge.
Vocabulary and grammar will be included in this course.
Please note that this is the second semester of a year-long course. If your student does not have prior IEW experience, please contact me at uscharleys07@gmail.com prior to registering.
