About the event
This semester we will travel back in time to the Medieval period. Knights, Vikings, kings, and famous men of the Middle Ages come to life as students learn to write with structure and style. Students will work through the Institute for Excellence in Writing's (IEW) units 5-9 as they learn to take notes, writing from picures, summarize multiple references, engage in inventive writing, and learn how to compose their own research papers. This course is an excellent class for students in grades 5-8, or returning IEW students who are ready for more of a challenge.
Vocabulary and grammar concepts will be included in this course.
Please note that this is the second semester of a year-long course.
