About the event

Learn how to write with structure and style as we encounter adventures that will supply a rich foundation for imaginative and enjoyable writing. We will be learning about fables, myths, and fairy tales throughout the school year.  This fall your students will work through IEW Units 5-8 as they learn to take notes, retell narrative stories, summarize references.  This course is an excellent class for students in grades 2-5.

Vocabulary and grammar will be included in this course.  Please note that this is the second semester of a year-long course.

***Parents are responsible for purchasing the Fables, Myths, and Fairy Tales Writing Lessons Student book (3rd edition, May 2019) prior to the first day of class (https://iew.com/shop/products/fables-myths-and-fairy-tales-writing-lessons-student-book-only-0), as well as either purchasing or printing out the Student Resource Notebook from IEW.

Class Dates:

January 10, 17, 24, 31

February 7, 14, 28 (No class Feb 21)
