About the event
Experience the adventures of the ancient world while learning how to write with structure and style! Students will work through the Institute for Excellence in Writing's (IEW) units 5-9 as we finish up the second half of this semester. They will be writing from pictures, summarizing multiple references, participating in inventive writing, completing a critique, and completing and presenting a formal research paper.
Vocabulary and grammar concepts will be included in this course. A grammar program will be introduced to each student.
Please note that this is the second semester of a year-long course. No new students will be added unless they have prior IEW experience.
******Parents are responsible for purchasing the Ancient History-Based Writing Student book prior to the first day of class (https://iew.com/shop/products/ancient-history-based-writing-lessons-student-book-only), as well as either purchasing or printing out the Student Resource Notebook from IEW.
