About the event

Hop on an adventure through writing as we explore fables, animals, famous characters and stories from history.  In this theme-based writing curriculum, students write about adventurous topics such as dolphins, magnets, John Muir, William Penn, Roanoke Island, and other interesting subjects while they learn to write with the Structure and Style® writing method.

Vocabulary and grammar concepts will be included in this course.

Please note that this is the second semester of a year-long course.

**Parents are responsible for purchasing the Adventures in Writing Student Book (First edition, released July 2023) prior to the first day of class.  Here is the link for the curriculum:  https://iew.com/shop/products/adventures-writing-student-book-only  Families will also need to purchase or print out out the Student Resource Notebook from IEW.
